2021 Summer Meltdown In-house Competition

AnnouncementBadger CrossFit is hosting a 3-men and 3-women team in-house comp on Saturday, August 21. “The Summer Meltdown.”

It’s that time of year again when the competitive beast in you wants to come out and play and have fun. Competition makes us push ourselves beyond what we thought we were capable of doing in ways we didn’t even think were possible. The time has come to get outside of your comfort zone and join in on the competitive fun!

All BCF athletes are welcomed to participate in the 3 person team both Male and Female teams. 3 to 4-WOD all-out battle to show yourself and your team how far you have come and how far you can push yourself. (Teams should be MMM and FFF)

RX and Scaled divisions! This is so everyone can partake regardless of ability. Additional points will also be awarded to those teams that move the best, as well for team cheering, for each heat.

The top three winners will be able to have bragging rights and win some pretty awesome prizes and extra things, as well as reaching the podium!

Even if you aren’t wanting to compete, please come on by and support your fellow athletes! This will be an awesome community event! Family and friends are welcome to witness the awesomeness that is about to go down at BCF. With summer comes new challenges and trying new things.

Specific heat times and assignments will be released soon!

WHEN:

August 21, 2021.

Check-in is at 7:30am, first heat begins at 8:00am. We want this to be a quicker competition as it’s on a Saturday in the summer, so we plan to be done by 11-12 noon or so!

Any BCF athlete!

HOW:

To sign up to compete, please visit the following link and enter in your team name, as well as all your members of the team.

If you DO NOT have a team, enter your name on the “Free Agent” list to the side and we will form a fresh team or get you on one.

The scoring system we will use for team’s overall score will be as follows:

1st place will receive 1 point, 2nd place wil receive 2 points, etc… The lowest score total for all the events will determine the winner.

Each athlete’s performance  will count towards their teams score, contributing to the team’s overall score for that event.

We will be testing all domains of fitness (strength, endurance, stamina, speed, capacity, etc….) to determine Badger CrossFit’s fittest team for the weekend!
